Good Shepherd Lutheran Church
Phase One - Developing a Master Ministry Plan
When it began?
Pastor David Misenheimer of Kairos and Associates was hired in September, 2003. We hired him for 10-12 days of consulting in October through December, 2003. At the end of his consulting, we expected David to provide us with a Report of Recommendations for Good Shepherd’s Future Ministry. (click here to view a summary of the recommendations)
What happened during the process? Who was involved?
David met with the Pastors, the staff, the council, committee chairs, and many other key ministry leaders during his fall 2003 visits. He heard descriptions of all of our current ministries and also heard our hopes for the future. We explored some of our growing edges and talked about some new possibilities for ministry.
