Natural Church Development is a book by Christian Schwartz which is generally regarded as one of the premier references on church growth.  Schwartz studied over 1,000 churches of many different congregations in 32 countries.  Through his research, he identified eight characteristics as crucial for healthy church growth.  These are listed below, with more detail provided as you follow each link.
