Good Shepherd Lutheran Church
Join Good Shepherd
We welcome and invite you to become part of our ministry. As a first step, we encourage you to become involved in worship, get to know people, participate in educational sessions, and familiarize yourself with our history and mission. Peruse the Shepherd's Link (our monthly newsletter) to catch up on the many events happening at Good Shepherd. You might also want to receive Frontline Devotions, daily devotions written by Good Shepherd members, sent every day of the year via e-mail.
If you feel called to become an active part of our ministry:
1. Talk to Pastor Dave and let him know that you are interested in joining in ministry with Good Shepherd Lutheran Church.

New member classes will:
Acquaint you with Good Shepherd's mission and vision

Help you learn how we communicate
Introduce you to our small group ministries and key leaders
Invite you to consider your personal stewardship (time, talent, and money)
Introduce you to other new members
3. After you become a member
We encourage you to stay active by helping us "grow in ministry, build to serve." Participate in worship services, join a committee or music group, get involved in a social ministry program such as Gaithersburg HELP, or join in our Master Ministry Planning process. The talents you bring to this community enrich each of us in our worship of the Lord together.
