What does God have to say about Money and Giving?
Give to God CHEERFULLY
II Corinthians 9:7: "God loves a cheerful giver."
Give to God FIRST
1 Kings 17:14: "Her jar of flour was not used up and the jug of oil did not run dry
Give to God ETERNALLY
I Timothy 6:18, 19: "Command those who are rich . . . to do good, to be rich in good deeds, and to be generous and willing to share. In this way they will lay up treasure for themselves as a firm foundation for the coming age."
Give to God EXPECTANTLY
Malachi 3:10: "Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. Test me in this, says the Lord Almighty, and see if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that you will not have room enough for it."
Give to God PROPORTIONATELY
Deuteronomy 16: 10, 17: ". . . Giving a freewill offering in proportion to the blessings the Lord your God has given you . . . Each one of you must bring a gift in proportion to the way the Lord your God has blessed you."
For Memorization
