What is Stewardship?

As we pray each week following the offertory, "We offer with joy and thanksgiving what you have first given us - our Selves, our Time, and our Possessions - signs of your gracious love".  Stewardship is really our continuing opportunity to show our love and devotion to God by returning a portion of what we already have.  Stewardship takes many forms.  Money may be our first thought, and it is important.  But the time we spend doing God's work and the personal witness we make to others are also powerful ways we honor our Lord.  These Stewardship pages offer information and inspiration about the various and many ways we can give of our gifts to God.  Just follow the Links below for the topic of interest.

Each one must give as they are able, according to the blessing of the Lord your God which he has given you.  Not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.  And God is able to provide you with every blessing in abundance, so that you may always have enough of everything and may provide in abundance for every good work.  And you will be enriched in every way for your great generosity".  ~ II Corinthians 9:7-8

Then print the form, fill it out and put in the offering plate on Sunday or mail to the church office at 16420 S. Westland Drive, Gaithersburg, MD 20855.
