Frances earned a B.A. from Muhlenberg College and a J.D. from Cornell Law School. During college, Frances was a counselor and then the assistant director at Camp Nawakwa, a Lutheran camp in Pennsylvania. During Law school, Frances was a Senior High Sunday School teacher and Youth Director for Ithaca Lutheran Church (now known as St. Luke’s) with a long-time friend, Heath Gamache. While she practiced law, she also was a co-youth director at St. James Lutheran in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania with her husband, Pastor Dave. Frances became a full-time mom after the birth of their second child. However, she continued to organize church events, Confirmation programs, work at church camp and teach Sunday School as a volunteer. Frances enjoys the creative process of putting programs together. She looks forward to providing support for the many leaders at Good Shepherd, in current and new ministry opportunities. Frances was born and raised in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania. She attended St. James
Lutheran Church in Gettysburg where her father was a co-pastor for 35 years. She
enjoyed an active family and youth ministry at that church.
