National
Lutheran Home Auxiliary. The Auxiliary unites members of
supporting synods and conferences in a program to promote the physical
comfort, spiritual well-being and happiness of the members of the
National Lutheran Home family. It provides material comfort and programs
of direct service to the 300 Home Residents.
Lutheran Disaster Response
(domestic) Lutheran Disaster Response (LDR) is a cooperative ministry of the
Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA) and The Lutheran
Church--Missouri Synod (LCMS). Following a major disaster, LDR seeks to
minister to the urgent needs of people who are affected. LDR responds
solely to domestic disasters.
Lutheran Disaster Response (international). Following a major
disaster in some area of the world, the ELCA, through its international
companions, seeks to minister to the urgent needs of those who have
suffered. Funds are used for restoration of life and structures damaged
or destroyed by major disasters such as floods, earthquakes, hurricanes,
famine, and political and/or military conflict.

World Hunger. The World Hunger Program is how the Evangelical
Lutheran Church in America (ELCA) addresses chronic hunger and poverty
around the world and in the United States.
Lutheran World
Relief. Lutheran World Relief seeks lasting solutions to
poverty and injustice and in doing so, compels U.S. Lutherans to put their faith into action.
Habitat
for Humanity ReStore. The ReStore is a retail outlet
specializing in quality new or used building materials, home appliances and
furniture, all sold to the general public at deeply discounted prices.
