Thanksgiving Holiday Food Program:

Grocery "food gift card" donations enable local families to purchase/prepare their own traditional Thanksgiving meal. A family of 4 receives cards in the amount of $30. Cards (in $10 denominations or checks made payable to Gaithersburg Holiday Giving) will be collected Oct. 29-Nov 12 and distributed Nov 16 at Good Shepherd.

Holiday Giving Program

An ecumenical outreach coordinated by the City of Gaithersburg in which gift cards & handmade stockings filled with goodies to eat are distributed to 500 local needy families. Donated Target store cards enable eligible families to purchase gifts for their children. Collection dates: Nov 25-Dec 10.

Romania Mission Trip Dinner

On Jan. 27, the 2007 Romania Mission Trip Team will host a traditional Romanian dinner to raise awareness and funds for the July mission trip.

Help provide year-round support to needy residents by donating food & service. Volunteers are always needed to handle phone calls, help at the pantry, deliver food, or drive clients to medical appointments.
