Celebrate a Renaissance Christmas with Good Food & Spirited Song |

Good food and great music --- plus a helping hand to those in need!
Join Good Shepherd's Chancel Choir and musicians for an evening of holiday cheer on Friday, December 12, 2003. A Madrigal Dinner will be served at 6:30 p.m. by our costumed servants and serving wenches in the Ye Olde Fellowship Hall, decorated Renaissance-style for Christmas. At 7:30 p.m., we will proceed to the sanctuary for a concert of Christmas songs, madrigals and music of days past.
Seating for dinner is limited, so only advanced tickets are available.
Adults $10; children $5; family $30. Tickets will be on sale beginning Sunday, Nov. 2 through Dec. 1 (or until tables are filled).
A delicious meal of hot, hearty pub fare plus dessert will be served, prepared by Chancel Choir and Music Ministry servants.
Proceeds will help us defray costs for a special dinner on Saturday, Dec. 13 for our guests from community shelters and families served by agencies for the needy. This festive meal will be limited only to these special guests in need and their sponsors as Music Ministry's Christmas gift to those less fortunate.
However, Good Shepherd members and friends are welcome to join us for the concert only at 7:30 p.m. Saturday.
A free will offering will be accepted at the door Saturday night to support the dinner for the needy. Please give generously, so we at Good Shepherd can make this a memorable holiday evening for our neighbors in Montgomery County.
If you can't attend this memorable holiday event, donations are most welcome!
On Sunday, Dec. 14, the choir and musicians will present the Renaissance Christmas Concert again for residents of the National Lutheran Home.
Reserve early for Friday night's meal, and warm to the sights and sounds of the season!
