Directions from the South

Travel North on I-270

Take Exit 8 (SHADY GROVE RD EAST) toward GAITHERSBURG.

Continue on Shady Grove for about 1/2 mile.  You will pass Home Depot, Best Buy, and Office Depot stores on the left.  Turn LEFT onto FREDERICK RD/ MD-355 N.

Move to the left-most lane and turn LEFT on South Westland Drive at the traffic light.

Turn RIGHT into Church parking lot

Directions from the North

Travel South on I-270

Take Exit 9B-A ( I-370/ SAM EIG HWY)

Bear to the left, taking 9A toward METRO STATION/ GAITHERSBURG

Merge onto MD-355 N/ S FREDERICK AVE toward GAITHERSBURG/ TOWN CENTER.

Bear to the left (be careful, several lanes of traffic), turn LEFT on South Westland Drive at the traffic light.

Turn RIGHT into Church parking lot

Parking

Parking is available in our church parking lot, but spaces are limited. If you are able and willing, additional parking is available in the Walnut Hill Shopping Plaza directly across Rt. 355 from church and at Rosemont Elementary School,  one block west of the church on S. Westland Dr.

NOTE: For large events, visitors also may part next door at the parking lot of Epworth United Methodist Church, 9008 Rosemont Dr., Gaithersburg, MD 20877 ---

When you turn onto S. Westland Drive approaching Good ShepherdLC, continue 1/2 block and turn right at the stop sign onto Alden Avenue. The entry for Epworth UMC parking lot is 1/2 block on the right.

You may make the short walk back to GSLC's main entrance via Alden and S. Westland sidewalks;  OR take the sidewalk south along Rt. 355/Frederick; OR cut through Epworth lot's lawn path back into GSLC lot.
