First Communion Instruction
 

Each winter Good Shepherd Lutheran Church provides First Communion instruction for elementary children. If children are in first grade or older, the parents may chose to enroll them in First Communion classes. Our program is an interactive and fun three week experience that prepares our youth for an important milestone in their lives.

In March 2008 sixteen children received their First Communion. The 2009 class will begin on Sunday, February 8 at 10:00am during the Sunday School time. A letter will be mailed to all prospective participants after Christmas. If your child is not currently in first grade, please let us know of your child's desire to participate.
