A Web Tour of our Stained Glass Windows

The Praise Window

The Full Praise Window

The window nearest the chancel depicts prayer and praise. Pipes, a harp, and trumpets - symbols from the Psalms - represent praising God with music. Prayer is symbolized by smoke spiraling from a censer, or incense burner. This image is derived from Psalm 141:2, “Let my prayer be set forth before you as incense.” The hands are folded in prayer.
